Tarator, next to the Credit Libanais at Sassine Square, opened April 4, 2011. The Tarator, with his yellow front, is composed of a team of nearly 20 people.
The servers of this snack with very design architecture are cheerful and helpful when a customer enters the restaurant. Tarator is looking very clean.
This snack is perfect for eating on the run: it has a counter located on the inside but lets keep an eye on the street while eating a shawarma. The name of the restaurant is also reference to the sauce used to make falafel.
Prices are very affordable; 3500 pounds for a falafel with pita bread and 5,500 pounds for a traditional shawarma. With a drink, it will add 1,500 pounds to an ice tea or Diet Pepsi.
